ASOS Wordmark in Motion
Occasionally we collaborate on some very simple, quick turn-round projects such as this one. We were asked by Ben Lewin of Studio&Co. to make his idea of how the ASOS logo could work in motion come to life. During the creation of the ASOS brand this idea wasn’t pushed through but he felt that it was strong enough to be developed for his case study of the project.

ASOS WORDMARK IN MOTION — Concept
The concept behind the animation was to show that the underlying structure of the pure and simple logo is actually very sophisticated and diverse. From a visual point of view, the motion piece was meant broke up the seemingly rigid logo to make it feel more liberated, creative and especially trendy.

This project, although it was very small, is a great example of how important it is for brands to have the added element of motion. As the digital has been taking over the print medium motion graphics plays a crucial role expressing the brand values in the 4th dimension of time.
